Marketplace Overview

The ShapeBox Marketplace is a built-in store where you can discover, install, and publish 3D assets, scene templates, plugins, and visual scripting node packs. Everything in the Marketplace is available directly inside the editor — no external downloads, no manual file management.

What's Available

Node Packs	Custom visual scripting node sets for specific use cases

Audio	Background music, ambient sounds, and sound effect packs

Accessing the Marketplace

You can open the Marketplace from two places:

Dashboard — click the Marketplace tile to browse outside a project
Inside the editor — open the Asset Panel (bottom bar) and switch to the Marketplace tab

Both views show the same catalog and share your library across all your projects.

Free vs. Paid Content

Free items can be installed by any user including those on the Free plan
Paid items are purchased with a one-time payment (no subscription required)
Pro/Team/Enterprise plans include monthly Marketplace credits that auto-apply at checkout
Purchased items are permanently linked to your ShapeBox account and never expire

Content Quality

All Marketplace submissions go through a review process before being listed:

Automated checks for file size, format compliance, and malicious code
Manual review for content quality, accurate descriptions, and policy compliance
Verified Creator badge for publishers with a proven track record

Your Library

Once you install or purchase an item, it appears in your Library — accessible from every project you work on. Items stay in your Library even if you cancel your subscription.
